Souring from Iris
Tryout & Approval

For new products to be developed, upfront Value Engineering is carried out at the time of tryout and proving, to reduce raw material cost. We encourage our customers to attend the pilot lot production in our Stamping Shop. This helps to minimise production costs by optimising the grade of steel as well as the size of blanks.
Some dimensions and features in a new product may turn out to be infeasible and these might have escaped the scrutiny of both the customer as well as Iris technicians. These are discussed across the table and suitable re-dimensioning and re-tolerancing of the original product design are carried out.
